I sold my condo in January after living there for 7 years. It was wonderful at first! But the property went downhill fast! The assoc. started allowing anyone to move in - new people were peeing in the stairway, leaving glass and used condoms in the parking lot, it always smelled like weed, children were loud and unsupervised, people would park in your spot and not care! HOA dues went from $325 to $667. Neighbors arguing and babies crying on the balcony at odd hours of the night got so bad I started using ear plugs to bed. Pets were not allowed but I literally got chased by a dog in the community. THEN we started changing management companies annually. The community has a walking trail but there's a guy that would stand on the perimeter of the trail and touch himself when women walked by. That's when I learned we had registered sex offenders in the community. I could go on but I'll stop here. I loved everything about my condo, but the community went down hill, so when the market shift many of us saw it as an opportunity to excape.
