Hollywood Square

Before you consider moving to Hollywood Square, please read this review for awareness. I lived at Hollywood Square for three years and it was not a place I could call home. The landlord, Charle, was disrespectful and threatened eviction over misunderstandings. My unit was infested with roaches, and pest control visits didn't resolve the issue. They even charged $50 for a copy of my lease.
Management changed frequently, with three different managers in three years. Emma and Carolina, the latter two, were kind but hampered by corporate policies. Maintenance was slow; a bathroom leak took weeks to fix, and a roach-infested stove was replaced with a used one after a week.
Security was poor. My car was towed from my assigned spot due to lack of a weekend parking decal, and there were frequent car break-ins and vandalism. Guest parking was limited to once every seven days.
When I lost my job and applied for rental assistance, Hollywood Square refused it and filed for eviction, even though I was only 10 days behind on rent. They sent me text messages like “Good morning. It’s eviction day” and threatened eviction over being short 50 cents on rent.
Living there was stressful and affected my mental health. Management cared only about collecting rent, not addressing maintenance or security concerns. The pool has been closed for over a year with no reopening in sight.
I strongly advise against moving here. The rent may be affordable, but the living conditions and impact on your mental well-being are not worth it. If you want to know more, feel free to email me. They also own properties on Washington Street (Nautica) and Sheridan Street (Key West). Be cautious of anything with "Rent Hollywood" branding.
This review is not malicious, just an honest account. Tenants deserve better treatment and maintenance. Hollywood Square is a revolving door, and this is the truth about living there.
You can ask anyone there you will hear the same thing or even worse. Run and don’t look back

I would advise not to choose this property , they will make seem like your apartment is clean and ready to go but its roach infested and Maintiance and the office do not fix the issue , along with this issue management is not friendly

I strongly discourage anyone looking to rent an apartment there. It's infested with roaches and their maintenance suck. If you happen to get injured due to their negligence, you're on your own. Because they do not have commercial insurance, the Hollywood Square Apartment will not take accountability in whatever might have happened stemming from there negligence, They will tow your vehicle without any notice. This place is also filled with mold, this is the ceiling of my bathroom that collapse due to water damage that they patch up,

This place is a Noo Star. Its has Roaches every where. They have once a month pets control to come out but it doesn't work one hr later the Roaches come out. Also if your bathroom tub or paint in the tub area starts to fall or peel off Don't call them. To tell them the problem cause they will tell u that you have to fix it yourself.. Here is pay your rent and don't complaint about anything cause if u do your done. Also I had my car removed as well. I had to cars and they are both registered to the same apartment.  The only this was that the cars had parking decals associated with them. So car one has decal no 5 to be park in parking spot 5 and car 2 has a parking decal for 8. So I had the cars swap and cause I did that. They had both of my cars taken out.  That Don't make sense to me.. be very careful renting here..

These people is fraud them hold your deposit and then want to charge more money for what for a place is full of roaches molds cupboards hole in the front door this is ridiculous my son was very sick due to mold I complained and they didn't care one bit. They are money hungry and ripping off poor people shame on you all.

The worst place to live in  ,bad management full of roaches ,mold ,the wall full of water ,they have rats too

THEY NEVER ANSWER THE PHONES! UGH! AND THEY ARE NEVER OPEN EVEN WHEN THEIR HOURS SAY THEY ARE OPEN! THEY NEED TO GET NEW PEOPLE IN THAT OFFICE!

Towed my elderly & disabled mothers car. We pay for parking! Told to walk blocks away to park our cars! Every inch is filled w roaches. I don’t cook only eat out  & I am a clean freak so it makes no sense. It’s just me no kids or nothing left no damage but still have to take them to court because they said I did damage but I have pics & videos. The place was a dump I actually made it better by forcing maintenance to fix things.
