Lago West Condominium Association Inc

Zero stars. Building 450 apartment 301. Anyone looking to rent this unit BEWARE. The unit was INFESTED with roaches I realized shortly after moving in. I was told by an exterminator to move out asap and that it was a buildup over time with a roach nest in the counter top on kitchen. The landlords Joe and Gail expected me to continue living there while it was to be treated for months (with roaches crawling all over the kitchen) and tried to blame me for them.  I obviously moved out right away. They decided to keep my deposit and last months rent after not even living there a month. I atleast would have expected them to give me back my deposit.  They are unreasonable people who will try keep all your money and expect you to live in poor conditions.

RUN DO NOT PURCHASE HERE. 2 Board Members/Employees run the place for themselves. Only look out for what they can take. They have been suspected of rigging elections to insure they and any cronies win.  It is believed they are taking vacations using Association Credit card points for personal vacations and other shenanigans. Beware of Joe, he thinks he's tough boy, really just a low life (in my opinion). If you have a problem, they don't do anything about it unless there's $omething in it for them. They put the CON in Condo.

I wrote this review 9 years ago and see not much has changed. Just funny seeing Joe D Albert complain about the board being vengeful, a POS who along with his wife Jean, Joe Callarotta (May he rot in hell) and their lap dog Richard made residents lives a living hell . The damage they did to Lago West persists to  this day.

Clearly, there are major issues with the parking situation and car is being towed and booted. After 37 years of ownership, the management has never been so poor. This is completely miss guided, and it appears that management or board members are being paid by the tow company. I would never recommend purchasing or renting in Lago West at least until they remove management and change board members

Recently a 3/2 sold for $345,000 and a 3/3 sold for $415,000. New elevators in all 3 buildings.
