Love the location, my apartment space an ...
Love the location, my apartment space and my building neighbors, although for the time being here . This place has great potential to become one of the best rental community in North Miami Beach but honestly, lack of maintenance and proper management has made it go downhill.
Starting with no real rewards at all for residents that have to this place to make their home for a long time , like maybe 1 month of rent for free or designated parking near your apartment, those are just some examples.
Management tries to apply rules with strongly worded letters and such, but really don’t lead by example, meaning the communal areas are not as clean as they should, like sidewalks near the lake (many dog owners don’t pick after they’re dogs and no one cares), the gym cleanliness is so inconsistent and the maintenance of the equipment the same or even worst. There 2 gyms and both have most of the treadmill not working , overflowing trash , weights everywhere on the floor , new equipment that has been broken for months and the list just goes on. They built a kid waterpark 2 years ago and has never been opened, in front of the gym there is another pool guess what? Also closed. And last but not least most recently they decided to not provide landscaping services for almost three months with no explanation or warning.
I’ve been living now for almost 5 years and my rent is extremely high (and increasing) and yet there no upgrades or improvements being made. It’s completely the opposite. Also for paying such high rent it is unacceptable for me to come from work at 2-3am in the morning super tired and start looking for a parking that is half mile away from where I live plus my family share the same car and then my wife and kids  in the morning which not ok and whole other mess when its raining!!

I’ve been living in Mila apartments for  ...
I’ve been living in Mila apartments for the past 5 years. In the beginning, it was clean, quiet, and comfortable. I was the first tenant living in my building as it was newly built, but have seen the coming and going of new tenants on a regular. First, dog poop is constantly in the walkways and actually caught two tenants allowing their dog to poop and not clean it up. Second, I had an incident where teens broke into my vehicle within the last 6 months, third, with the new tenants moving in there had been an increase in my packages being stolen from my front door; never had that problem before this year. Fourth, out of the three pools they’ve built only ONE works for all the tenants at this property. Fifth, they have a movie theater room, but it’s only open when the leading office is open , so if you work normal 9-5 business hours, forget it. Sixth, if you need to use the computer room, the doors are always locked and you must bring your own paper to print any documents. Seventh, there’s constant issues with the gates entering or leaving; especially the back gate on county line road. Eighth, I just moved out today and looking at these security deposit issues, I surely hope I don’t have to exercise my legal rights under the Florida statues law on security deposits being returned in a timely manner, especially being a 60 day notice was given and the normal wear and tear on the unit was still in great condition . The pics attached is 2 small holes in the tile that need to be replaced after 5 years and the vents needing a cleaning from me cooking on high in such a small space. Just a lil paint, and replacing the carpet the next tenant will be moving in next week. If I had to do it all over again, I wouldn’t. For those of you still having issues with security deposits , here’s a link to read up on and know your rights .

1/29/24 UPDATE. The response from this reply asked me to reach out and NO ONE ever responded . I went back to the property on 1-4-24 and 1-11-24 only to be told they will follow up. I did find out I was being charged for dry wall that was already replaced by my husband, they charged me for keys that was turned in, I was also OVERCHARGED for a water bill and Nicole refused to adjust those fees. I guess I will let a judge decide what’s the correct thing to do. 😡😡😡😡😡😡

Offer new customers additional amenities such as an office, swimming pool, or bbq. But the printer always have issues in the office, and no one changes the toner for two weeks. They gave us the key to the grill, but the grill was not working, we cooked the meat on the neighboring grill where other people were cooking, and only one of the three pools works... You have to ask several times to get something fixed in the apartment. They need to reduce prices by 30% and start working faster to get at least 3 stars
