Normandy Village

I lived there from 2012 to 2014. I couldnt wait for my lease to be over because there were RATS SCRATCHING IN THE WALL EVERY SINGLE NIGHT AND I COULD NOT SLEEP HAD TO GET UP AND SLEEP ON THE COUCH MOST NIGHTS. They sent the Trini maintenace guy, who is good, he cut a hole in the wall and put a trap in there, but it didnt work. The laundry room on my floor NEVER WORKED the whole 1.5 years I was there. The worst part is the smell of the hallways stankin Haitian food or whatever and people get their mail and just drop that pile of Wednesday junk mail ads right in the lobby smh. It's hood, dont get me wrong, but it was a good value for the price. Affordable. I never saw roaches either, just the rats chewing the wall. Doors are really sturdy so you don't really have to worry about break-ins. I just hate I had to get rid of my cat due to there no pet policy. Ghetto hood place like that shouldn't be so picky about a cat thats fixed and has all his shots, not like its a 80 lb Pit Bull or something.
