Worst experience I had when applying for an apartment. We were straight forward with our income/credit and we were denied. Charleston said if we were denied, that the guarantor most likely worked with tenants like us. Even though we make around $150,000 a year. It wasn't enough to secure an apartment. After we were denied by the guarantor, Charleston couldn't care less about helping us get our admin fee back. He actually sounded annoyed that I was calling to get more information on it. After a few weeks, our admin fee refund was still in review. Whatever that means. He said he didn't know what that means. Couldn't be less helpful. Don't fall for any reply that says they apologize for the inconvenience that we had. They will get you to.

Be careful when applying with Oaklyn. We were up front with them regarding income, credit, etc. and we were denied. Charleston will put up a friendly front at first but once he saw that we were denied by the guarantor, he wasn't helpful at all when it came to getting our admin fee back. They say it takes up to 30 days but can take longer than that. They will reply to this review that they apologize for any inconvenience we had while applying and to give them a call to see if they can do something. This reply will only be to comfort future renters from their incompetence. Be careful.

Moved in just a little under a month ago. I love it here so far. It’s really convenient to go right to the beach within seven minutes. 30 minute walk if you walk fast the office staff are really friendly. Braden is the person that helped us secure our unit, which was really helpful. There are snacks there’s coffee upfront. There are so many dogs and great dog parents. Maintenance came in and out and completed the services very timely. The complex is very clean. The amenities are dreamy. Perfect location for a good time and just to come back to a safe home.
