tl;dr: if you're cool with paying $2000 a month in rent and not getting any issues in your home fixed, I say go for it. They're on your side when you leave a bad review. After a while, you stop existing again. Had a phone call with the property manager months ago about online pay. I was told that ours would be re-enabled after a month of paying traditionally (check, money order). So I paid by money order for maybe 4-5 months, and apparently, according to him, that conversation "never happened". Shame on me, I didn't get anything in writing or email, so they can lie on the phone all they want. Not that any email would get a response. You can send a new email about the same topic every week and no one with touch it. A mess of management, overpriced rent and failure to service their tenants.
Update: I emailed resident relations about 3 days ago. No response. I'll update again if they ever do but I doubt it.
ORIGINAL REVIEW:
I've been living here since April 2021. It's an okay place to live and the community is nice and all, but getting things fixed? It's another story. When we moved in we put in a ticket for our dishwasher, as it leaks when we use it. Months later during another repair, maintenance said that he's going to order the part he needs to fix that leak. Still never happened. In fact, every support ticket I put in online gets cancelled by, presumably, the office without an email or any form of explanation.
Our air conditioner has been freezing up constantly. Every time we call for maintenance about it, the come by, fix it, and then maybe a day later it stops working again. This has gone from happening once or twice a month to maybe once every few DAYS. I keep the filter clean, in fact with it not working I have practically endless opportunities to do so. They never explain the problem, which they sometimes do with other repairs. As far as I'm concerned they're just coming by and giving it some freon every time we call. It's been ridiculous. We need this to actually be fixed. PLEASE.
Update: After speaking directly to Management from Forest Properties I can say that most issues have been resolved. I was finally given detailed information as to what was done in response to each support ticket, something that Olivine's online portal does not give you at all. My dishwasher was FINALLY REPLACED YESTERDAY :). Very pleased about that considering it's been an issue for half a year now. This experience has shown me that things WILL get done if you know who to go to. I hope to not have any issues with my unit in the future but if I do, I feel a little better about having things resolved instead of writing support tickets into the void.
