Sheridan Ocean Club Apartments

I lived here for 3 months. I saw cockroaches every day. The site's pest control service is useless. I took medicine myself. Insects never went away. My psychology is broken. Never choose.

Disclaimer: this review is simply my opinion  based on my experience 🙂 Pros: safe neighborhood, there is no tow truck or booting issues compared to other apartments ive read about. It's close to the beach (this could be good or bad)
The aesthetics/ beautification , whoever they hired for lawn maintenance does an excellent job with the flowers and plants it seems s as if they come every day idk but they do a good job. Also I would like to mention that if there is as much as a crack in the sidewalk or the road they will have someone fix it next business day and I mean ASAP which is quite impressive. Another thing I was impressed about was they have maintenance come to each apartment building and sweep the common areas (all floors ) . Out of all the apartments I lived at I've never had someone come by to sweep up outdoor debris
Now for the cons (and boy are there quite a few):
First things first the no see ums ! They are horrendous, I literally gained 10 pounds living here because I could not take my daily walks because you will get BIT and have several mosquito bites all over your body. I believe they do have trucks that spray pesticides to decrease them however they come back in a few days.
Washing/dryer machine incredibly small never had a washer or dryer that size. You'll only be able to wash a laughable number of clothes per load,( I have much to say about this but I'm trying to keep it short).
Area prone to flooding (which is a given)
They don't offer valet trash but still charge you ..
Apt has a mold problem, I actually met someone who happened to also liveat Sheridan who had to stay in a hotel due to this and low and behold my apt also had mold but I don't think proper steps were taken to make sure it was eliminated (they "cleaned" it, and painted over it)
Last but not least the ANTS , main reason I had to leave. There is a major infestation with big ginormous carpenter ants ive never seen in my life they're millions of them
