Solano at Miramar

The ghetto. Horrible staff. Bug infestations. Broken down appliances. Dishonest maintenance staff. My mom and sister live here and have been dealing with poor performance from office staff since day 1. Currently, their refrigerator has been broken for weeks. The office sends maintenance to "fix" it but all they do is say they're coming back but never comes back. Meanwhile, food spoils and my mom is forced to throw food away. The office staff is young and "petty." Instead if helping the residents, they'd rather walk around looking inside trash bins, etc., and finding ways to fine people for ridiculous reasons. I will be calling the OIG and filing a Renters rights report.

I am Zulema Hevia, I live in Solano at Miramar and I am very grateful to the work staff: Jennifer who helped us take the first steps to be able to live where we live today - excellent attention, patience and professional, to the girls always with attention and concern They serve us and the maintenance staff THANK YOU for your work and always for resolving situations that arise. I am very sorry that some people - I would say the majority - DO NOT COLLABORATE in throwing the garbage into the large tank inside and closing the door so that it is compacted, instead I see with my own eyes how they leave garbage around the tank lying around and THERE IS NO RESPECT OR CONSCIENCE FOR THE WORKERS PUT GARBAGE INSIDE THE TANK, CLOSE THE DOOR SO THAT IT CAN BE COMPACTED and thus avoid bad smells and unpleasant views around the garbage area. BUT THIS SITUATION IS CAUSED BY A FEW TENANTS OF THE CONDOMINIUM ITSELF. Sincerely, ZULEMA HEVIA

Apart from a minor setback shortly after we moved in last year, the time here since has been great. Any issues we've had, maintenance has always been quick and have delivered top notch service. The community is clean and we have friendly/quiet neighbors. Also, the gate has been working lately which has been nice. It's also nice to live somewhere so close to everything.

SAVE your money, find another place if you’re looking!!! Do not be fooled by the ‘nice lobby & gym’ because that is ALL you are getting!!! Let’s start with management being dishonest on leasing prices which I am sure is borderline illegal!!! We found a rate on their site and when we called to inquire about it we were told that it was incorrect even though the website states that they will HONOR all legitimate quotes provided by their website within 24hrs,LIES!! They will not.
Second we have been here for less than 8 months and have had to submit 15+ maintenance request. Ranging from my dishwasher not working, clogged sinks, leaking appliances, wet closest that they will not find the source of where the water is coming from. Not only that but my apartment has completely flooded with water because of the washer breaking down and it took more than 45 minutes and multiple calls and running into the lobby to get someone to help.
Lastly, we also raised concerns about MOLD in the unit which is a danger to my family especially my newborn baby. They simply came and dropped off a dehumidifier a week after the first maintenance request! They haven’t bothered to even pick up the equipment or followed up on the matter.
No other way to put it than it is, simply an irresponsible and OVERPRICED careless complex.

There’s always a random loud explosion at night sounds like a bomb or dynamite going off in front of my building my tv was stolen from my apartment only people have access is maintenance and myself i had roaches the first night moving in the ceiling had a long crack in it would not recommend living here

Solano at Miramar is a perfect example of why Google should allow ZERO stars. 1. They do not fix any repairs in a timely manner. You have to chase them down, and when they show up, they misdiagnose the issue.
2. You can expect to wait over a week at a time for repairs. If you ask why, they will tell you it's because they are short staffed. Sorry, but I'm not paying $3000 a month to hear "we're short staffed". It's the same song and dance for years now. If you're really that short staffed, either hire more staff, or stop zipping around all day in your resident paid golf carts trying to lure in new residents by over promising and under delivering.
3. The office staff never picks up the phone.
4. The trash service is missed frequently.
5. They just updated trash pick. Now there is no pickup on Fridays AND no pickup on Saturdays.
6. The "security gate" is simply there to lure in new residents. In reality, it's inoperable 95% of the time.
If you want to pay to be mistreated and ripped off, this is the place for you. Otherwise, save your money and go to a place that is well maintained.

Sarah has been so helpful  and patient with my leasing process so far. I just want to take a moment to appreciate her answering my questions, requests, and calls as I prepare to move in.

I don’t know what’s happening to this community. The weekend garbage pick up do their job. The residents living here are just lazy and filthy people who just disgust me. My family are the only civil people I actually see going to the dumpster to toss the trash properly. This corner is becoming a landfill. Raccoons, birds, squirrels, and flies come and munch on the garbage, causing spillages and a disgusting smell of garbage. Where is the pest control? Ants are everywhere?!!
What’s so hard to walk to the dumpster door and toss your bags in there???? Come on people do BETTER!!!
People wait for weekdays for the office and maintenance staff to pick up after them so lousy.

Great place! I've lived here for almost 2 years, and I cannot recommend this place enough, amazing facilities and the staff is very friendly and helpful!
