I rarely write reviews, but my experience at the South Tower at the Point condo was HORRIFIC! This building is an unofficial 65+ retirement community. Do not move here if you have young children! The building is a prison with very strict rules about noise. The board policies it's residents, hates children, and gives violations to children. When a neighbor complains about noise, any noise, the resident will receive an automatic violation. The hallways were renovated several years ago and they weren't sound proofed properly, sound from inside the units travels throughout the hallway. One Saturday morning, I was abruptly woken up by a dog barking across the hall. Dogs are allowed to bark but young children are not allowed to make any noise. When we moved in my child was only two years old and cried like all toddlers do. My neighbor (who happened to be a board member) frequently complained about my child crying inside our own home due to the lack of soundproofing. During Covid, my now three year old received two violations for not wearing a mask in the common areas. We were not given any verbal warnings from management. We had a Zoom hearing and were given a $100 fine. I was forced to put a mask on my three year old. I had a friend come visit me with her two year old. I didn't think to tell her to put a mask on her child because masks were not being enforced when my child was two years old. My guest's son did not wear a mask in the lobby one time and we received another violation. No other building in the area was mandating masks on small children. The board at the South Tower harassed my family and made our one year of living there unbearable.
