Southwind Cove

Small, quiet and well-maintained Townhouse community. The entrance from Oakland Park Boulevard is not very pretty, as some of the surrounding communities are quite old, but once inside the atmosphere is quite different. I think the homeowners association does a good job here.

The renters living here make this community very ghetto. There is always police here for the same house near the north entrance. A bunch of teens and young adults are causing trouble, always the same house. Yet, the HOA is only concerned about money over the safety of the residents living here. It was a very family oriented  community when I first brought my house here over 6 years ago. They let anybody rent here!

We have the gardeners here twice  week, and is so quite and peaceful, at nights you see almost all the kids and dogs playing out on the parks, very family oriented and is a well kept gem  in Sunrise.

Horrible place to work from home, great place to live. The landscaping company is routinely here something like 2-3 times per week and is dreadfully loud the entire time they're here. This makes it literally impossible to keep a clean vehicle in your driveway because the landscapers blow all the clippings and junk directly up at the houses for some reason. The exit gate is perpetually broken here because it was installed in the wrong place. Because of how it was installed, when someone inadvertently takes a sharp 90 degree turn to exit north from the east side of the neighborhood, the gate will occasionally NOT see your vehicle. This is NOT the fault of any of the cars driving and absolutely and unequivocally is an issue of the placement of the gate and gate sensor. (not that the gates do anything if you know what I mean smh). Instead of combating the actual issue, they spend HOA money on fixing the gate over and over again. The latest fix was to install cameras that blind people at night in order to catch the people who accidentally break the gate and so the issue will continue forever because human nature was never considered when installing these useless gates. The neighbors are all lovely people, the neighborhood is near lots of wonderful parks and such, but the hoa makes stupid decisions that seriously impact the lives and sanity of the residents here.

Pretty nice neighborhood besides the people that live here and make it unpleasant.

This is not a rental community is a great residential private townhouse community very well located with walking distance to 2 city parks, restaurants, movie theater, and more, is so convenient. Also, the community is surrounded by a walking path fill with beautiful trees and landscaping,
The association in this place is incredible, everything is well taken care of, the lakes, the 2 community pools, the playground park, landscaping, the gate, the exterior house painting and the cleaning of the sidewalks.
Is the perfect home for a young family or retirement because they have 1 story townhouses as well.

I love this place , very freindly and clean.

Teen and adults smoking and listening to music as soon as you drive in police are here multiple times a week because of crime looks like a nice area stay away.
