Before I write this post, please know it’s not what I wanted to say. I gave them every opportunity to change our experience, but it hasn’t happened. When we moved in back in May, there were over 10 issues with our apartment, all of which have been documented in emails to management. Of those issues, one was carpet replacement in both bedrooms. The movers we paid for had to leave everything in our living room so the complex could take care of something that should’ve been done before we arrived.
Since then, the elevator had been broken 4.5 of the 6 months we’ve been here. I live on the 5th floor. The communication was spotty and I wrote in asking for updates multiple times when we would go WEEKS without hearing anything. This week, the elevator has broken again. We were told that we’d receive communication yesterday as an update and heard nothing. I emailed last night around 10pm so that it would be there for them this morning as a reminder. It’s almost end of business and STILL not a word from management.
We had 4 service requests that went over 2 weeks without a word from the complex or team. They finally arrived when we sent a frustrated email to management.
This property is beautiful. The management of this property is horrendous. Neither myself nor my roommate have ever experienced such a lack of care in any place we’ve lived. Packages get opened or stolen, people are loud and rude at the pool, pets are allowed to pee on balconies which tricked down to the home below. It’s not worth the price or the view.
Edit: The elevator has since been fixed again. It was down for about 2 weeks this time. Noise is an issue I didn’t mention, but it’s a concern if you have small children or work from home. It could just be my neighbor, but I have been interrupted during meeting and woken up at ungodly hours of the morning because of noise here.
