Beautiful place

I really enjoyed the restaurant inside. However, I found the hotel lobby staff to be quite dishonest. Denny saw my family and I  (two little girls) waiting in for the pouring rain to stopped in the lobby. He claimed that residents were complaining. But I didn’t see anyone complain; in fact, everyone smiled at us. When I asked him if there were any complaints, he initially said “yes,” but later admitted he had lied and that no one had complained. I truly love this place and would have loved to stay here, but I can't support a place with dishonest staff like this.

Let me say this first CAFE BERNIE IS AMAZING, but the lobby staff and valet are rude! At first when we walked in 10:59AM that is he said it wasn’t open when we literally had a reservation for 11 AM ( we had to show proof) .Then when leaving, had a pregnant woman and a 1 year old, he stated “ sorry the sitting area is only for residents” when we weren’t even sitting and valet didn’t even bring our car up or move the car in front of us and we still had to pay, as local Miami Beach residents we were disappointed.

Arrived 10 minutes early for reservation at Bernie’s restaurant. We were admiring the art exhibit when a “man” told us to leave the building. He did not say this nicely. “Come back when restaurant opens”. RUDENESS WAS UNNECCESSARY. NOT FRIENDLY MIAMI BEACH.

AC breaks down all the time. It’s unbearable to live here.
