I’ll keep it short and sweet, Chris & Ashley from 5th Avenue are the ones that made my year living here at Eve a good experience. Everything else, I’m going to say that I learned my lesson and never again I’ll pay top dollar for a place that doesn’t reflect that top dollar investment.

Was treated with Discrimination!!! As I  ...
Was treated with Discrimination!!! As I was trying to get in late at night a Certain Gentleman Front Desk was very Rude! The resident took a bit long to send me the code to get in, and the front Desk was ignoring me the whole time , UNPROFESSIONAL!!! Then when I finally got it I asked him why I wasn't let in , his Response If I spoke English I would've used the intercom Properly! HA discrimination or what , I clearly speak English and several other Languages Fluently.  . Needs proper training on how to handle things more Politely and Not So rudely.  Resident was aware of that Incident!

This building is not as luxurious as they make it seem. I lived here for nine months in a one-bedroom apartment overlooking the park. The first thing I noticed in the apartment was the cockroach problem. The rental office didn’t seem to care much, and when they finally sent pest control, it didn’t help. Three days later, the roaches were everywhere, likely because the walls weren’t properly sealed. I suspect they were coming from the trash room, which you can smell as soon as you step off the elevators.
The package delivery system is another nightmare. Packages often get lost and mysteriously reappear days later. To find your package, you’ll have to search through a room crammed with hundreds of others—good luck with that!
The A/C vent system is another issue. Your apartment will unexpectedly smell like whatever your neighbor is cooking, which can be unpleasant.
The pool has been out of service for three months, and management has no idea when the permits will be ready to fix it.
If you have a dog, there’s a great potty area, but many dog owners don’t clean up after their pets, leaving it messy and uninviting.
Unfortunately, this isn’t a friendly community. Most residents keep to themselves, though I will say Ashley at the front desk is always upbeat and welcoming, which is a nice change. Luis, one of the maintenance staff, is also great!
On the positive side, the views are stunning—probably the best in Midtown—and the location is perfect. Just know that you’ll be living in a very touristy area, so expect heavy traffic and honking at all hours.
For the price I was paying, I feel a bit ripped off. Just my honest opinion!

We do provide weekly pest control services every Monday, available upon request. We made multiple attempts to coordinate pest control treatment for your apartment, but unfortunately, those were declined. Regarding the package system, we have individual package lockers for resident convenience, and a larger room designated for oversized packages. Package organization does require the cooperation of residents and delivery carriers, and we do our best to ensure packages are properly labeled and organized on a daily basis. While some of the challenges you mentioned can arise in any rental community, we always strive to respond and resolve issues promptly. We truly appreciate you mentioning the aspects of the community you enjoyed, like the stunning views, convenient location, and positive interactions with Ashley and Omar. We’re happy to hear their efforts made a positive impact on your experience. Update- I am so depressed. We have been  ...
Update- I am so depressed. We have been without a pool and hot tub for months now, since October 21st and it’s almost February!!!! Something about permits but don’t you think a competent pool resurfacing company would have assessed everything and gotten the proper permits? This is our main amenity in the building (no private work area, no sauna or steam room, no massage room like many other luxury buildings have and our gym has old equipment and closes at 10pm) and they haven’t even started work on it!! I look out every day, nothing- as the hot tub they didn’t drain fills with leaves and algae. No discounts on rent, no passes, no discount on parking for this nothing, and we pay top dollar per square foot. I have a bad back and that pool especially the hot tub was my therapy. Makes me want to move! I’ve been living at the eve for a few years now-
Positives- Omar and Ashley are this buildings saving graces. Omar is in maintenance and is extremely responsive. Ashley is a joy.
Samantha the new building manager seems great and is on top of her stuff.
Negatives-
-They were supposed to do the pool refinishing earlier this year- this has been delayed until we don’t know when, maybe October? A big bummer.
-This building has a bug problem plain and simple. This has been going on for a few years now- When I moved in we had roaches, many of my friends here have had them too- and a girl recently broke her lease (after a week) because there were so many cockroaches in her apartment kitchen area.
Thankfully they did 1 full building spray a few weeks ago for the cockroaches but it’s not enough. Those Buggers are relentless and need 3-4 weekly sprays and a full gutting to get rid of them. They’re only masking the issue. There are mosquitos in the dog relief area as well- and they don’t reprimand people for not picking up their dog poop enough! Please spray the dog area for mosquitos/ put repellent out there.
