Legacy at Tamarac

I am unsure why this place purports itself as a “luxury“ apartment. I am a University  graduate and I have seen student affiliated housing with better amenities such as bigger pools and better gyms and gym equipment. I am not sure if they thought Black people were not accustomed to the true definition of luxury but hey, here we are (the apartment complex is located in a largely Black city). Nonetheless, the biggest problem I have with this place lies within their insistence to abruptly raise rent. With less than 4 months left in my lease they have decided to increase our rent by $100 for a cable and internet service we are apparently now bound to pay for since the leasing office exclaims there is no way to opt out of this charge.
I would advise prospective future tenants to stay away. There are a laundry list of other issues with this place but the rent increase was the most egregious of them all. They made sure to let us know this was “legal” but that does not make it right.

Meeting Julimar Blanco of Legacy at Tamarac was an enjoyable moment for me. Julie was very clear and concise with all of the information that she shared with me, which eliminate any confusion during the execution of the lease agreement. She was always professional and polite during the entire transaction. From a scale of 1 to 10 Julimar number would be 100. Chris Albury

I'm really not a person to write a review but I honestly have to write this one. I've been living here for approximately 7 months and I'm loving it. The office staff is very professional,  warm and welcoming.  JULIE is simply the best. She'll never stop until you're satisfied. The maintenance grew is very on point.  One hour after putting your work order in they'll be knocking at your door to complete task and certainly JULIE will be calling to make sure that you're comfortable with whatever was done. I WOULD DEFINITELY  RECOMMEND THE LEGACY AT TAMARAC!

Really could do better with communication.

The assistant manager Ms.J done a great job helping with everything and the manager supported her in the process of being a future tenant.

I recently checked out Legacy at Tamarac during a tour, and loved the place. The staff was super friendly and answered all my questions, which I appreciated. The amenities are killer - I can already see myself lounging by the pool or getting a good workout in at the fitness center. The apartments have a modern vibe, and the whole place is well-kept. What's really cool is that it's in a convenient spot. Easy access to shops, restaurants, and highways.

Please DO NOT come here. The communication is TERRIBLE and they DO NOT care. We applied there and we were told that we were going to hear something back in the next 48-72hrs, 96hrs later we called to see if we were approved or not but couldn’t get anyone to pick up the phone. 2 weeks later we drove to the office & the manager told her that the assistant manager was sick that’s why we couldn’t get an answer. We asked her if there wasn’t anyone else other than Juli(the assistant manager) who could’ve given us a call she said it was her but she had been busy. The manager was being so inconsiderate and acting like it was fine. We told her we were going to call the next day to tell her if we were still moving or not. But again called her for 3 days back to back she didn’t pick up. Drove there, so we could get the $500 deposit back because the policy says approve or not we wouldn’t get the application fees back. Surprisingly, when we got there she told us we wouldn’t be able to get the $500 because she sent us an email to say Welcome. What about you work on your communication skills and be sure you keep your new tenants picking up your phone when they call you, not having people driving there until you know what going on? She is the reason we decided not to move there because if we haven’t gotten there it’s that bad what about when we live there. You are welcome to keep our $500 we would rather lose that than deal with you!
