One Park Plaza Apartments

I just toured these apartments and based on the professionalism of Camille...I have done the application. The master bedroom in the 2 bedroom apartments are big enough for 2 king size beds! If your looking for an apartment. Go See Camille now!

Love the renovated units here! The new management has been amazing so far- I really appreciate their efforts, they’ve all been extremely responsive and personable.

I seen a tour of the home it was so spacious and elegant.. Maria was a big help in helping find the perfect home for me. She was very polite and knowledgeable and made me feel at home.

This place is horrible…. Been here for a year and two months and I wish we would’ve left when our lease was up, but unfortunately couldn’t afford to at the time. The place is disgusting has roaches people would pee and throw up in the stairway, and etc. Ever since I’ve been here every time it rains, it floods the apartment meanwhile, I’m on the second floor so it’s coming through the walls. I’m currently writing this while the water is flooding through the walls, i’ve called and no one has called me back, and the only thing they do to help is put a fan down.. they put a fan down the last time this has happened, but the fan isn’t going to stop the water from coming through the wall so it’s pointless. Since the last time this has happened, they had more than a month to fix the problem and yet have not. Wish I could afford to just leave because this place is not worth it.

The worst,Take my advice. For being so expensive the apartments are run down. Infested with roach. Can’t wait for lease to be up, this place is disgusting.

8/19/23 update: AC is not working again. Inside is currently at 86°-88°. I do not why maintenance does not repair or replace the issue. 7/13/23 update: came home to the unit being hot (inside around 90°) with the AC blowing hot air and wet, moldy smell from the leaks that have not been fixed. Around the water heater is completely soaked, could be from leak or the heater is leaking - they are aware of the leaks and still nothing! I'm sure I will be told they have to wait until their is no more daily rains. Such much fun using a bucket to collect the pain pouring inside.
5/1/23 update: somehow every year maintenance can't find the leak, which is very evident on the wall. See videos.
2/13/23 update: still too many cons - I am not sure what screening method is used for new tenants, but someone moved in a few days, I came home last night to them yelling up and down the hallway upset and banging on doors, making threats due to their packages being missing. I do not feel safe coming home to that kind of mess!
The cons outweigh the pros with this complex.
Pros: close to grocery stores, highway, elementary school (if you have kids), park, and dog park. Lucy, the property manager is very polite and follows on issues when you speak with her.
Cons:
-Repairs: Within less than a yr, my AC has blown hot air at least 3 times - I'm not sure who's in charge of repairs, but FL that's too often and a no-no.
-Garbage: between the city trash removal folks that comes between 1:45 am-3:30 am or the smell that hits you in the face from the 1st floor dumpster - I am not sure which is worst!!
-Laundry: cheaper to bring to a laundry mat. The dryers go out and you don't find out until after the fact. I assume they aren't maintained unless its reported not working.. And some folks with pets, do not clean out the residue left over in the machines after using.
-Tenants: is there screening down on the tenants that move in? There is way too much drama within the bldg I reside with no respect for other. It's either children running down the halls, slamming doors yelling, arguments (which law enforcement step in).
-Units: the walls are thin!!!! You hear everything in the units; esp if you face the parking lot. You hear elevators, people in the stairwell, conversations in the parking lot, footsteps, neighbors kids playing their rooms. If you suffer from headache or migraines or just need peace & quiet - I strongly do not recommend.
This complex has gone downhill within the past 5 yrs; and I'm only one side of the complex. I don't even want to know about the other buildings.

They never answer the phone when you need them to. I called about 10 times no answer. For something to cost so much, do better!
