I wish I could select zero stars. I lived at Park Plaza from 2021-2024. Originally the complex was decent. If any issues occurred with elevator and laundry room, maintenance used to fix it in a timely manner (building A). However since the new management arrived in 2024, it has been an absolute nightmare. There would be no elevator for months and washer/dryer barely functioning. I lived on the first floor(building A) facing the main road , during hurricane season, flooding was rough since my unit is on a downslope. On September 25th, 2024, I sent a maintenance request regarding the living room floor peeling off due to possible flood water damage. Maintenance came on Oct 4th, assessed, took pictures and sent them to Camille. I was informed it’s too big of a job and couldn’t be fixed immediately. Then shortly after, I had leaks in my closet causing the carpet to be soaked. Again I informed the office. Same thing happened, they came, assessed, and left to report to Camille. I noticed maintenance simply assessed the area, however they marked the pending task as “completed”. 2.5 months later, with multiple unsuccessful attempts to contact the owner due to the rude secretary/receptionist, my clothes were molded with the pending task still unresolved. I couldn’t even stay in the room because of the mildew smell. Now that I’ve moved out on 12/31/24 they are holding 80% of my deposit, $500+ to fix the floor because of all the rainwater damage. Which is unacceptable, since the floor was an unresolved previous pending request. In addition, I was charged $600+ to paint the entire 2/2 apartment and drywall. Only wall blemishes were nail marks from hung curtains. -Disappointed tenant M.A Apt A-103
