Portico Apartments

Booted twice here just from visiting lol. $78 each time. I don’t recommend visiting Portico or having any guests if you live here. They’re obsessed with immobilizing vehicles.

This place reminds me of 1930s Germany! I would advise anyone to never live here, you’d be better off living in the streets! Nicole Conceicao is the rudest person I’ve ever had to deal with!

The receptionists today leave a lot to say. Bad attention and very unfriendly.

Absolutely in love with our new home and community. Everyone is so nice and helpful. Marjorie in the leasing office is a Super Star, Jose - maintenance, on point. Well preserved area, clean. Garage - amazing, gym - fantastic, surrounding common areas - beautiful, a lot of walking trails around the community.

We recently moved in and we love it! Marjorie was awesome! She made everything so smooth and was extremely helpful from day 1. We also met Jose and Rafael from maintenance and they were amazing! Looking forward to what's to come!

I have 85% of friends white and other Latin . I do not have any black friends it’s not that I don’t love black people but my friends are by who gravitates to me and who shares common interest . With that said I treat everyone with good energy and a generous level of compassion. I do not silence respect or genuine customer service due to looks , race , or demographics.
Sad to say CoCo Chanel …… yeah … that’s her name 👀……….. the rental associate when I entered was extremely lacking of engaging in thoroughly helping me etc.  Extremely dismissive and rude and chose a monotone approach with me . As soon as the white guy walked in she was super let’s serve this guy with the best customer service we can . So she is capable but looked down on me and I didn’t receive it ….#I’m always recording … these pics are a quick drop … the camera was on the mask 😉❤️……….

Nicole I would expect better …. After research we are born the same place but she is in the same boat with lack of regard and respect to prospective tenant.
As me over and over was I the person as if I was being mendacious about it . The was very snide with remarks ( I have video 😉❤️)
I was told my religious head wrap ( yeah ) needed to be taken off and my medicated glasses ( yeah ) needed to be taken off .
They have implemented this new system allegedly that has no concessions for people with disabilities and blanket this discrimination with a failing excuse of the fair housing act .

Piece of work …. Very negative energy and vibe .
She would not from asking am I  leaving … I explained I am educating myself about said company before I make the decision. She kept pushing and poking with condescending backdrops in her remarks because she had the broward sheriff’s deputy in there attempting to get a response out of me. But my response mirrors who I am which was is a  peaceful response. My follow up response was me letting her know that I was just researching and my plan was to see the property today .
When companies are held accountable rules change… Said rules benefit people that were previously going through the same issues. I.e., what if someone has problems with their eyes, what if someone has something religious , what if some people don’t have eyes… sounds ridiculous but it’s just a compassionate thought that there should be other alternatives when companies, cross this pathway so they are not sued for discrimination….. etc .

I absolutely loved living at Portico and would move back if I could.

Before moving here be aware the ceilings are thin and you can hear your neighbors business day or night, hopefully you’re blessed with quiet soft footed neighbors. Do yourself a favor and rent a top floor unit. Leasing office has no real regard for rational complaints about noisy upstairs neighbors. If they feel like you’re bothering them with the complaints they’ll censure you without really providing any resolution or consideration.

Living at Portico for the past 4+ years has been absolutely amazing. It certainly feels like a resort, the neighbors are pretty friendly, the amenities are superb, and the lakeside location is extremely peaceful. It is a unique location in close proximity to everything, especially the highway. Portico is quite a large building complex, so I can’t speak for the entire community, but building 1 has been amazing.
Kudos to the maintenance staff for being so incredibly responsive and resourceful when anything happens, it makes a huge difference.
