MUST READ !!! DONT MAKE THE MISTAKE I MADE!!!! I highly recommend you reconsider moving into this complex. In all honesty, I can only speak for the unit I rented at 1821 Apartment P. This unit has a serious mold issue that the owner tried to cover up so he can rent it immediately. Not to mention, he doesn’t even live in the country and you have to deal with the shitty property management company he hired. I unfortunately had an incident with the glass shower door coming off the track and falling on top of me, causing me to have to spend a night in the hospital because they neglected to fix the shower door that I informed them of from the beginning when I moved in. They claim it was impossible to get into the unit due to my schedule. Which is utter bs because I was there all the other times they showed up but neglected to fix the shower door. They had been aware of the mold issue since Easter because we told them there is an issue in the bathroom with a leak. We informed the tenant below to let us know as soon as he noticed a leak in his apartment because we knew it was a matter of time that the issue was going to get worse. Sure enough May 30th I arrive to the unit with maintenance workers waiting for me to do an inspection because the tenant below called to complain about the leak. It took them over 3 weeks to send Roto Router, Rapid Recovery and an insurance adjuster to address the issue. Sure enough after the mold test was done it came back positive for Stachybotrys which is one of the worst molds you can deal with and a few others. It is frustrating knowing this information because I am 8 months pregnant and now have to go through testing to make sure this is not affecting my unborn child and myself. Dealing with this has brought me alot of stress and inconvenience during my pregnancy and these people have no consideration what so ever for what I have to deal with or go through. They just want to harass you to be there at their convenience without having consideration of your time. I have tried to accommodate them the best that I can but unfortunately as a single pregnant woman living alone that is not possible for me. Now that I had to find a new place and move everything out with a weeks time they want to give me a hard time for not painting and want to charge me for what it will be to paint. You tell me, knowing that you’re going to have contractors there to renovate the apartment completely, because there is moisture in the walls and floors and the bathrooms need to be renovated, you’re really going to give me a difficult time because I didn’t paint. Building 1821 has a mold issue in general other tenants have informed me they are dealing with the same issue and need to move out. But dealing with the property manager for apartment P has been a complete nightmare. They definitely tried to cover this mold issue up with a shitty grout job that the mold is protruding through. Same your money. You’ll find a better lake view elsewhere.
***UPDATE*** They charged me $750 to "paint" and to take out a bag of garbage. The property manager tired to claim that they never charged me for however its stated on the "refund" they issued me for my security deposit. They clearly did not want to refund me anything. It took over a month to receive a check in general. Now I have a $1,300 ER bill for the accident with the glass shower door that they said they would pay but never paid. I have tried to contact them on several occasions and nothing. This has now lead me to seek legal advise and take this to court. I will now fight for the ER bill to be paid and compensation for my pain and suffering.

Here's a small list of things needed to be done. Landscaping, parking
enforcement, parking stones put back on asphalt surface, no newsletter, how do people know about toilet parts that are supposed to be handed out for free to stop water waste. No common area enforcement, blocked fire extinguishers, storm drains not cleaned, dryer vents not cleaned, trees around water meters whose roots might soon break water lines, lake erosion, light timers to save thousands of dollars in electricity, dogs running loose, dog poo everywhere, rain gutters full of leaves and leaking all over the property, completely dark areas of the property,  why can't bulbs be replaced? How about the Jacuzzi that hasn't worked in years?Otherwise, a great neighborhood. Here's an update 10/10/23. Now, the management company does not even supply a manager in the office to conduct daily business! Another year almost gone with little to nothing accomplished! And forget trying to call our office or their corporate office, they never answer! Not a company you would want to hire! 12/15/2023 update! Still nothing getting done still no office manager still  nothing being done! surprise surprise they give themselves a raise but do less and less. Where are the board members why don't they do something about this? Latest update, 2/1/2024. A new year rolls around, and guess what? I guess I don't have to say it! What a joke the management company is right along with the board. It seems they are one in the same! Update as of 2/5/24. CREAM Landscaping here today with just a leaf blower. Everything getting blown into the lake. Leaves trash etc. Instead of picking up the leaves and trash, just blow it! More quality work from CREAM.

If safety is your priority stay away from this place. My car was vandalized overnight. I was under the impression that they had a guard available. I was informed after incident that guard is not on property on Tuesday and Thursdays. All of my tires were removed and rims. Also another car was vandalized. I no longer feel safe. The last picture is the other car that was vandalized as well. Management does not care.
