On February 7th, 2024, someone attempted ...
On February 7th, 2024, someone attempted to steal my car. The thief broke the car's glass, tried to remove the sensors and GPS, and damaged the trunk area. Unfortunately, the street light near my parking spot is notworking. To keep an eye on any suspicious activity, I have installed a camera that points towards my parking area. I have also reported this issue to 911 and have the case number. It's disheartening to see that someone else was stolen from in the same community in reviews from three months ago, and another person even mentioned a street light issue. While incidents like these can happen anywhere, it's important that the management of our community takes appropriate security measures for the safety of all residents. Instead of investing heavily in renovations, which can be inconvenient for those of us who live here, it would be great if the management could focus on security by installing cameras  or having night patrols. I'm not satisfied with the current state of security in our community, and if no action is taken to address it, I may not extend my lease.

When you spoke to the on-site staff we did inform you that we reached out to our electrical company to take a look at the light as we just completed a project that consisted of replacing/repairing all street lights in the community. This place has consistently gone downhil ...
This place has consistently gone downhill since new management took over in 2023. It seems as if they terminated all the previous maintenance personnel, who were attentive, helpful and prompt - and hired new techs who just ride around in golf carts all day. I’ve had maintenance requests pending since mid-November 2023 being told there is a backlog. I have other high priority tickets pending for over two weeks - my fridge, my washer and patio door needs replacing. As a mom of two, everything in my fridge is going bad because of the negligence of the inexperienced maintenance techs who seem to think fixing a fridge means resetting the cold settings. I called the office today for help and was told by two reps I will get a call back before the end of day…no call. I’ve been here for over 3 years, and the costs is absolutely not worth it anymore. I’m paying over $2600/mo for inconsistent “valet trash pickup” that has so many rules for what is eligible trash, squirrel and duck poop on all walkways, trash in walkways that groundskeepers don’t address EVER (I’ve seen a broken chair stay in the walk way for over 3 months before it finally disappeared), inattentive maintenance, shoddy work on supposed “upgrades” to my unit that needed repair and never was addressed.
I’m counting down the days to my lease ending. It’s absolutely not worth it anymore and I do not recommend this community to anyone. Look elsewhere if you want your moneys worth.

Upon review of your work orders, there are no pending items dating back to November 2023, and the service request for your refrigerator was completed in January. Good luck getting any of your deposit back. After over two years of being a great tenant they added inflated fees to eat up my deposit and charge me more. Over 200 dollars charged for paint and over 400 for renting out the unit to someone else. They refused to tell me if my unit was rented out and I got a delivery for the new tenants cable box a week before I moved out. They were being sneaky and I kept getting conflicting information. Just insane. The day I was turning my key out a tenant was screaming at the top of her lungs because the maintenance team left her door wide open for hours while she was at work smh… please be better for your tenants.

Hi Maika,We're sorry that you were not happy with your final account statement. When notice was provided that you would be moving out, the Leasing Office explained that you were giving notice prior to your lease expiration. With that being said, based on the selection that you made, you would be responsible for the monthly rent until your apartment was rented or until your lease expires - whichever came first. While we understand that you inquired to see if your apartment had been rented, to protect the privacy of residents and applicants, we cannot release specific information. If you would like further clarification on the charges on your final account statement, please contact the Leasing Office at 954-880-1639 and we will be more than happy to assist you.

Do not rent here if you value convenience, access to basic necessities you are paying for and timely completion of maintenance requests. I have been without access to a washing machine for 2 weeks going on 3 and Atlantic Preserve is doing next to nothing for this grave inconvenience. My maintenance request sat in their mailbox untouched for 2 weeks until I had had enough to call and get a status update. I have rented her for close to 4 years and the service has gone down the drain. I was very hopeful when this new management took over but I am sorely disappointed in the service that comes with over priced apartments. Garbage strewn across the side walks and roads for days on, inviting all types of rodents. Garbage disposal area a complete mess. Please heed my advice and look elsewhere. Furthermore, I’ve been told the regional manager is out of office and so there’s nothing they can do at this time ????? You’d think that’s where the Property Manager would step in but, I digress.
I have other maintenance requests about a month old that I have not received any updates on - won’t be holding my breath. At this price point I would appreciate work orders resolved without my badgering or constant calls for an update. Unless this is the type of stress you want to endure - stay away.

Hi Janaii, we're sorry to see this review despite speaking to you earlier in the day on Friday, January 5th. When maintenance responded to your service request, it was determined that a specific part needed to be ordered. Upon the arrival and installation of the required part, it was discovered that another issue was discovered. This issue would not have been discovered when maintenance was servicing the washing machine. We sincerely apologize that this has occurred however, the additional part has been ordered. They are scammers, we fill out the application and send the money for it. We sent a security deposit and they told us that if we didn't apply they would return it to us. It turns out that they do not return anything to us, we will consult this with a lawyer, scammers

Worse management that there is, work requests take 2 plus weeks. Also when you renew the lease contract and they offer a promotion they do not honor it. It is just terrible overall. Worst place to live for the price they charge

Strange my previous review was not showi ...
Strange my previous review was not showing but just to sum it up. I’ve been a resident for 4 years and this will be my last. This place is definitely not worth paying $2200. Trash is disgusting and infested with ducks, rats, vultures, etc. Its been 7 almost 8 months of them saying they’re “working on getting it sorted out” yet the trash area look like an actual landfill. Gym never gets cleaned. Landscaping is always poorly. Not enough doggy stations - and the stations are always overfilling with trash/smell yet never have any bags in them. This place used to be amazing but idk what happened. Update: we moved out two months ago and they had the audacity to send us a bill for $400 to “clean” the carpet, stove and tub, yet I have pictures of how clean we left the place & they needed to renovate anyways considering when we moved in it was an “un renovated” apt & that was in 2020. We had to live in rat, roach, vulture, & possible BLACK MOLD infested apartments for a year AND & they send US a bill. Ridiculous.
Just as another side note we had several respiratory issues while living here, even found out a couple directly below us found mold in their unit & the Apts allowed them to terminate their lease early. In the last few months of us getting ready to leave we heard from several neighbors, complaining about possible mold in their AC’s. Then, literally the day we’re moving out and go into the office to turn in the keys there was a couple who JUST moved in complaining mold in their unit. STAY AWAY.
