This apt complex FORCES you to PURCHASE a home:’I wish more money would’ve been spent on SOUND PROOFING; for $2K+ I’m simply getting a hot shower and a roof over my head!! This quiet community has become quite loud! Latest update 12/14/23 Walls are SUPER THIN. It is 9:32 p.m. my neighbor from hell as of 07/23 and her guest are screaming and carrying on to the top of their lungs. I called Plantation PD around 10:30 p.m. per leasing office instruction. The next morning this lady gets up at 7:00 a.m. yelling to the top of her lungs. I return home 8:00 p.m and she’s still LOUD. I decided to submit my 60 day notice. I’m downgrading  the 5 stars to 4 for the THIN walls & being advised  to contact PD rather than the leasing office issuing  a noise  complaint.

My "quiet" nextdoor moved out and the LOUDEST woman ever along with a BARKING dog, with her super LOUD surround sounds interrupted my SHORT lived, QUAINT oasis. I enjoyed 3 months of the best living. It’s  constant screaming, crying, laughing, singing, conversing in her native language;. I'm not sure if she's excited or angry. The leasing office has been tremendously supportive in sending out loud noise disturbances.
Finally, my lease is coming to an end.
I moved in on April 20, 2023, Nick was my principal leasing agent. I initially toured with him last summer. To my surprise, he was still here 9 months later-April 2023. This was my deciding factor-low turnover with staff. The appliances are top of the line. The renovations are professionally crafted with the EXCEPTION of the BATHROOM  (the wood work and caulking is quite worn, the tub and toilet are both DATED and PAINTED OVER, the toilet is extremely low to the floor). The front and patio door thresholds have deteriorated. The seal on my front door is just about detached. I submitted 5 maintenance requests upon moving in, ONLY 2 were  resolved. The sockets’ still are not working, and the stopper on the tub was left detached after the 2 maintenance calls. The HVAC return could’ve been CLEANED before moving in. On the other hand, you’ll enjoy the sliding barn door, the vanity just outside of the bathroom is generous in size and scales well in modern luxury. A few neighbors were incredibly hospitable. FOOD truck every WEDNESDAY and location make for a 5 ⭐️ Community.  My brother-in-law assisted me with moving in. He’s a maintenance technician for a large apartment community and he was very impressed with the finishes. You will hear your neighbors’ music, & dogs BARKING as early as 7 a.m. daily, and noise from the plumbing )closing the bathroom door at night mutes the noise).
During move in please check dryer vent, window seals, and refrigerator, Take pictures. I am too afraid of opening the dishwasher but the things mentioned were not cleaned prior to moving in. Also had gnats a week within moving in ( though I had not lived in the unit for an entire week) after two rounds of pest control they were gone.

Move in was smooth and all repairs were done the next day. Tamara made the process very easy for us. We are loving it so far!

Management hires tree trimmers/ landscaping to make a TON of noise at 7 am Saturday mornings. People are off from work/school and are resting. The last thing people want to wake up to is loud/ intrusive noises on their days off. This should be a Monday- Friday maintenance.  This is ridiculous, clearly they do not respect the residences and lifestyles. Laurels at Jacaranda needs to do better!!!!

Moved here in April and absolutely love it here! The staff and maintenance team are helpful and go the extra mile to assist when needed. It's a quiet area, pet and kid friendly. Super happy here and hope to stay for years to come.

So far everything has been great from the communication when were looking where to move into and after we signed the lease to officially move into this beautiful community. My partner and I are quite excited to live here and happy we chose the Laurels. Mayra, our leasing agent, was a great resource from the start and we are extremely grateful for her aid during this stressful process. Her help and her team’s made this experience a good one and that is something we are extremely thankful for.
