The Mint

Lots of challenges and miscommunication due to language barriers with management team. Specifically, there was a ton of miscommunication between management, myself, and my real estate agent on my move-in day which I ended up bearing the brunt of financially. If you are not a native spanish speaker I would recommend looking elsewhere. Unfortunately, the apartment was not well kept and every appliance broke during the 9 months I lived at the Mint. The experience I had with the property manager really put a damper on the overall experience. If you are looking for a place to live in Miami, I would recommend a rental building in Miami rather than condos. I've lived in two building managed by Aire communities and had a much better experience.
Location is really only okay, downtown is very dangerous and I had a few close calls/ negative experiences. Brickell is close if that's your thing but overall I wouldn't recommend. Beautiful building and grounds.

Worst place to live...it's a jail...you are 24 vigilant by management.....any single movement of you will be record in camera...The people that say that is a 5 stars place are lier's.....are friends of the management or owners... There are millions of rules in the Mint...also they give you fees of $250 for any mistakes as living a small empty box close to the garbage area without flatter it...if going to the pool read the 50 rules before to go in due to you will receive a fee for anything as listen music without earbuds...they never answer or help you at the moment...you have to wait days...for a simple question.... employees are terrible as the managers ... don't go there...run..far away from that building...also the president of the board which is in control of the 3 buildings in that area...is a racist...watch out with him...he is a 24 vigilant of every person in the area...he has more privileges than any USA president....run..run..run..

Worst customer service I have ever received. I contacted their office several times due to a damage that happened in my boss’s vehicle due to a sensor malfunction on the garage door, most of the time they didn’t even answer my calls, and when they did, it was only to tell me that they would review the cameras “tomorrow”. I finally requested to have someone to take care of me so I could follow up with one person specifically because everyone was giving me excuses and nothing was being done. I was told to ask for Carlos the property manager (turns out he’s only the assistant). He was the rudest person ever, he said he reviewed the cameras and the garage door never hit the car which is obviously not true because there’s a large scratch on the trunk door. When I was trying to explain, he kept talking over me, I had to ask him to let me finish talking multiple times which was distressing. I sent the pictures of the damage last week and decided to contact Carlos today for a resolution, he answered me by saying “oh I remember you, you’re the rude lady who was screaming at me the other day” he then proceeded to attack me personally, at that point it was very clear that they were not going to help us or do anything about it so I hanged up. He happened to be on speaker so my coworkers heard it and could not believe how nasty he was to me, they are the ones who encouraged me to write this review. I deal with many different companies on a daily basis and was honestly impressed by the lack of respect and the attitude this person gave me. Shame on you.
