The Residences at Monterra Commons

Gabriel assisted us through our process from beginning to our move in day and will continue, I am sure. . My husband visited this location alone and after visiting this beautiful location, he promised I would love the place. As soon as I met Gabriel, we felt at home right away. He took the time to show and explain all the amenities. We thank Gabriel for welcoming us so gracefully to our new home. Kudos!

We just sold our home after 27 years living in a wonderful home in Cooper City, we selected residence at Monterra after searching many areas within South Florida. I highly recommend people who are searching for a 55 and older to take a good look at this awesome place. It is very hard for us to move after so many years, however, Gabriel was an incredible Source of providing guidance and assurances that my wife and I will be very happy here. I helped my mom move in right before the Christmas holiday! From the moment we walked into the building, we felt a sense of community. Everyone was warm and welcoming...the staff went out of its way to answer our questions. In particular, Gabriel was especially patient with my mom - he recognized this move was a big shift for her. His responsiveness and willingness to accommodate made my mom feel comfortable from day 1! The property is immaculate - the community engagement is top notch! She made friends right away - I am so glad she has a support group! Thank you for providing an amazing experience for us!

I have been living here for about 6 months now, and there is a long list of reasons why i cannot recommend this place, but this would be my main reason to look for anywhere else but here to live and spend your hard earned money. They will not follow up with an email, their "Intent To Enter" after posting on your door. So if you are away (like I was) or happen to not have left the apartment that day, you will have to deal with it that way. i was left with personal items all over the floor and the mess they created as well.
They will send endless useless emails about Balcony Holiday Contests etc, but if they intend to enter your apartment, the courtesy of an email is completely lost on them.
This place is low class. Plain and simple. But what do they care as long as you pay on time.

Brand new apartments, top of the line appliances, office staff is great and maintenance is always up to date. Greatest community in Broward County!!!

Since the first time I stepped at this place I felt in love with, the place is clean, the staff is very courteous and professional, especially Gabriel who helped us from the first moment, everyone is willing when needed even the maintenance staff.

Gabriel was extremely helpful, kind, and informative during the process!  We love the property and our apartment and are extremely happy thus far!

Everything here is a problem. I mean EVERYTHING. Don't move here. I lived in other high end communities and this one is the worst. If you have a guest in your property they are not allowed anywhere in the premises without you being physically present with them. Think about how practical that is...Management is not there for you, is there for themselves and to make sure you feel unwelcome and uncomfortable every time you point out something wrong. They have not paid my real estate agent's commission in months. Gate malfunctions and hit cars all the time,  yet they do nothing about it( they don't even put a sign warning people) Every time you point out to management that there's something wrong, they look and talk to you in a way as to make sure that you feel there's something wrong with YOU... trust me, they have all the answers in the book to proof you wrong no matter what... I have spoken to other residents  here and they are not happy. Not sure who are these people giving good reviews here on Google because I haven't seen them in the building.
