Put in request to have microwave fixed 2 weeks ago & later still nothing has been done while new units with microwaves remain empty. Outside of buildings are dirty can’t even see out my windows because of the lack of cleaning.
Also hot water does not last long unless it’s summer
Seems like a lot of lack for paying $2500 a month when our unit is not even upgraded

Since upgrades to other apartments, living on first floor has been a nightmare … if a  neighbor has a dog you’ll hear it running around the by their nails scratching the cheap wood floors which is your ceiling so all you hear is nails scratching the floor while you want to sleep. And since cheap floor and no more carpets you can hear all your heavy footed multiple neighbors stomping around all day and night. The pipes I can hear whenever the neighbor showers or flushes their toilet … the upgrades are cheap and makes the sound proofness the carpet helped with no longer. Cannot wait to move

This leasing staff clearly works off commission, they don't care about their applicants.

Celestine is extremely rude !!! Me & my family came in to inquiry about an apartment (2/2 Catalina) . We weren’t greeted nor acknowledged when we walked in , we waited for over 15 minutes for her to “try” to find another apartment because the Catalina wasn’t available anymore . She went in the office sat at the desk & was tending to other things as we waited . I had to go to the office & ask her if we could see the apartment & she proceed to tell me that she had to look for the prices of the apartments . I then stated to her that she told us that’s what she was doing & we’ve been waiting for 15 minutes . She told me that her system was moving slow(never informed us of that) as she was putting papers in files . She didn’t want to help us from the moment she saw us .. the other young lady in the office attended to other clients that walked in behind us & was headed out the door to show them an apartment .

Mr. Alfredo (Groundskeeper)consistently goes above and beyond in his role, ensuring that our common areas are impeccably clean and thoughtfully organized. I've even noticed his skillful touch in painting various sections of the residence. I am truly grateful for his exceptional work and, most importantly, for his unwavering commitment to maintaining the overall cleanliness and appeal of our complex.

CAN YOU GUYS PLEASE GET A PHONE THAT ACTUALLY WORKS? OR AT LEAST PEOPLE THAT CAN DO THE SIMPLE TASK TO ANSWER THE PHONE? That doesn't seem too difficult to add on a job description at the moment of hiring someone at the office, right? Even kids know how to answer the phone

As a resident of the Waves apartment complex, I have had numerous unfortunate encounters that led me to write this review, in hopes that potential future residents can make an informed decision. Firstly, my experience with the leasing office has been far from pleasant. The management seems to lack a sense of urgency when it comes to dealing with matters of basic paperwork. Simple documentation processes have, in my experience, stretched on for weeks without resolution, and what's more, there seems to be a lack of transparency where they won't provide the necessary papers for residents to review before signing. This has led to unnecessary stress and confusion, as you're kept in the dark regarding the terms you're agreeing to.
Equally disappointing is the complex's approach to maintenance. My maintenance requests were either handled with extreme delay or not responded to at all. This is concerning, considering the level of rent we are paying.
Furthermore, it's worth noting that the apartments are fitted with Polybutylene pipes. These are notoriously unreliable and prone to leakage, which unfortunately, is something I have personally experienced. There is always a constant worry of potential water leakage damaging personal belongings, causing additional stress to the living situation.
To sum up, while the actual living quarters may be satisfactory, the ongoing issues with the leasing office, slow response to maintenance requests, and the quality of the building materials have made my experience here less than ideal. It pains me to say that this complex leans heavily into the 'landlord special' category, where residents' concerns and needs seem to be of low priority.
I would strongly urge potential residents to consider these factors before making their decision.

Watch out for the water bill!! It’s a doozy…for a 2/2 with 2 people I am paying $72/this month and the summer hasn’t hit yet.  The utility is managed by a third party vendor in Colorado. I hope this changes.
