I tend to stay away from the runnings of the building however, there have been a lot of instances where the employees have been great, as well as instances where they’ve dropped the ball a bit. 1. I don’t appreciate being threatened to have attorneys called on me to basically put me out of the place I’ve been living at for 5 years, because of a non issue and something that should not have been a problem! 2. I don’t appreciate the maintenance worker leaving my keys in the door for hours and also leaving my door wide opened, or the fact that I was not even given an apology! So much could have gone wrong in that instance and no apology was issued. 3. I also do not like the quality of the emails. The English is terrible and very poorly written. I think we can do better. 4. The common areas are also very untidy almost every day. 5. The thing that bugs me the most is the maintenance guy washes his car on property at least 3 times a week. Even on Sundays when he is not working. If permitted then knock yourself out however, last Sunday he came to the property and washed his car, the resident gate was not working and it wasn’t until he finished washing his car was something done. He could of seen that we couldn’t get in. I went home spent about 2 hours and came back and no taping off. 6. I also need to touch on the fact that I was cited a rule that was not even in the rules. Suzette made it up on the spot and added it to the rules while I was standing in the office. I didn’t even know that could be done. She sent me emails and stated I was breaking the rules by covering my car! Mind you that place get filthy quickly and your car pays the price. She even said what will happen if I don’t uncover the car but when I read the rules, it was not listed and not in my lease. She added it to the lease then and there after I had already signed more than 4 months prior. Something I have never seen done in my life. They then sent out a rule about it and said 3 days was the max. This is something that really bothered me. 7. A lot of assumptions are made as opposed to just asking questions. I can’t tell you how many times I have received accusatory emails instead of them just calling me and asking or reading for the most part. It is a rental property yes, but I am never late on my rent and I expect certain services. 7. Whenever I call for service though, they come quickly and for the most part does a great job. All in all, I love my community and have been there for 5 years and I do not intend to leave until I purchase a house. Hopefully you take my criticism as useful from someone in the same line of work. Thank you for all that you do.
