Midtown Aventura

Horrible community. So many complaints about this place. They try to sell you the place as a “luxury apartment” but it is absolutely not. Don’t sign here. A 2/2 here costs about $3500 yet there is not enough parking for cars in the community. There are cars parked all along the curbs in the community every night.
The walls between apartments are paper thin. Can hear everything from your neighboring apartments and every time a train comes by at night. The brightline station is right across the street so there’s multiple trains that come by every hour.
The community is also very lazy with maintenance. We put a maintenance request in 3 months ago that still has not been addressed.
Lastly, when we moved in, we told the community we only wanted to live here if the gym was 24 hours as we have to work many night shifts with our current jobs. We were promised this would be the case and there is a huge sign that clearly states that the gym is open 24 hours. Since we have moved in the gym has NEVER BEEN 24 hours. They have told us they are trying to make it happen for the past 6 months.
Horrible place that has completely unreliable managers and staff. The only good employee here is Shanice at the front desk and some maintenance workers who try their best to keep the place running. Management doesn’t seem to care enough to provide basic needs such as parking and amenities.

NOT parking spot……. Since the office doesn't give me a better answer than “I don't pay any extra for parking so I don't have the right to demand one”. Well, I feel obliged to put it here since in Florida everyone relies on "reviews". It has been my experience that if I’m not parked by 6pm I won’t be able to find a parking spot and didn’t mind until recently that I started to get treats of tickets and car being towed.
Considering a have a late shift at work and can never find parking as I know is the case for a lot of other tenants.
I had a call giving me ONE hour to move my car even when it has the resident sticker due the “new rules” to improve the parking situation.

I’m too excited and delighted of this place that I literally cannot write a short review. This place is so wonderful and comfortable, near a metrorail that takes from north to the south so you can move everywhere from here like to a nice ayce buffet sushi and The Ancient Spanish Monastery at 2 miles from here and Downtown Miami as well (almost reaching Miami Beach) a great italian restaurant at 1 mile and also walking half-mile to reach one of the best ice cream shop I ever tried in Miami (Anita la mamma del gelato) so full of friendly people (indeed as we moved here me and my daughter got a lot of friends and now she got a very trustful and good boyfriend too who also lives here) and the staff is always available for any help or need, the rent we have is pretty much good (from 2000 to 3000) for a home in here that seems almost to be in some expensive resort (rent payment included also bills, taxes and via-cable tv fee) is a very clean and always scented place with such a healthy and fresh regenerating air and lastly, as we moved here we were welcomed by some bottles of sparkling wine and other groceries then we celebrated our moving here with them. I don’t complain about some neighbours arguing because that’s also part of what make a place funny and lively (I can still stay safe here beside that) we were living such a stressful and exhausting life in our past home, but as we moved here we gave ourselves a makeover and mood improved a lot.

I used to live here. We moved for different reasons but the main reason was the indifference from the community management office to assist us with issues regarding the community. Our neighbors from next door used to fight at ANY time of the day. You could see them arguing in the hallways and hear them yelling and throwing stuff. It was draining and uncomfortable to live like that and we couldn’t stand it. I reached out to management and they told us to call the police, that there was nothing they could do. It happened for a whole year. The police told us they couldn’t do anything that it was a matter of the leasing office. So we had to gather videos of them arguing for management to assist us. They finally reached out to the neighbors a week before us moving.
The old tenants put a hold on our mail and we didn’t get our mail for over a month. That’s after they went to our apartment twice to ask for it which is another uncomfortable situation. I understand mail issues are not their responsibility BUT their lack of urgency for our safety is alarming. How did they get in? Ana asked me the same thing. How don’t they know????
I got trash thrown inside and next to my balcony and I also reported it to them and they said they couldn’t do anything about it because they didn’t know who did it. I spoke to Ana once again.
At one time, I was on my way home and saw in the news the community surrounded by the police. They closed the perimeter and entered the community looking for someone who supposedly committed a crime “outside” the community. We got home and police were searching everywhere with dogs and guns. SCARY.
I moved out and the post office is still messing up my mail. I changed my address last October to my current one and my mail and packages are supposed to be forwarded to me but for the second time they still delivered my package at the old address which is at this location. The new tenant left it at the leasing office and NOBODY KNOWS WHERE IT IS. Again, they couldn’t help me. I had to insist for them to try to help me but instead they got angry, especially Shanice, saying that it was not their responsibility that it was MY issue that I had to change my address. Which I explained I did. But she kept repeating the same thing. I talked to Daphne, Ana and Lazaro, the head of the office. He told me that yes, they had my package but he couldn’t tell me where it was because they couldn’t find it there. That he trusts his staff and didn’t know what happened. And that “unfortunately” the cameras are being updated so they were not recording that day they got my package. It is an unfortunate situation and frustrating that someone might be stealing other’s packages and that I have to still deal with them. I have taken action with authorities to resolve the matter.
Just BEWARE.

Midtown aventura is great community with a lot of space to walk around and enjoy beautiful views.I like to walk around  fountains and use other amenities. Gym is big and convenient, instead of paying for a membership I can just use the one inside the community any time I want. Ana at the leasing office is always helpful, everyone are very friendly and outgoing. The community is peaceful, I love living here. Would definitely recommend.

Very wholesome people and accommodating, the unit I wanted had a little issue and they were able to find a significantly better solution then I would’ve thought. The community is beautiful, the apartments are very nice and you honestly can’t beat their pricing. I was helped by Daphne and she was wonderful. Her friendliness and kindness made me comfortable signing knowing she would be my leasing agent. She definitely deserves a raise. Her knowledge of the community and surround area is great being a transplant. 5 min walk to the bright line for easy access to Miami and Fort Lauderdale for the night life. Do yourself a favor and take a tour you won’t regret it.

I moved here from Brickell and it has been absolutely amazing! It’s central to everything and even 8 minutes to the beach. The front office is super nice and attentive, no maintenance issues and even when I moved in I could tell everything was brand new! Having lived in 3 different states, this apartment is my favorite!
