Located in the heart of Plantation, Florida - Tree City USA certified for over three decades - Plantation Terrace is close to the city's shopping, banking, parks, library and four golf courses. Association premises are comprised of 4 buildings housing 137 spacious units; renting is not permitted.
The Association is operated by a self-governing board, which among other things oversees the beautiful grounds, pool and barbecue areas.
The Association Office is open from 8 a.m. until 12 noon, Monday through Friday each week.

Plantation Terrace, is an over 55 complex that is very well-maintained. There are no rentals which I feel is wonderful. The neighbors are very friendly and helpful. The staff and the board are great to work with. I couldn’t of picked a better place to live in Fort Lauderdale as Plantation Terrace

It's a fine place I good neighbor and plentiful stores and living quarters are suitable, rest of the place if fine only gripe is that one side of the building has what looks to be a layer of dirt on it.

In the category of 55+ housing, this is a better than average choice. The buildings and grounds are well maintained. The plumbing and electrical are adequate. The Association enforces the ground rules tolerably well, without being obnoxious. The residents fit the profile reasonably well, and are generally well-behaved. The maintenance fees are rational and the purchase prices reflect market values. We moved in July 2017, and weathered Hurricane Irma with little-to-no damage. Our criticisms are minimal, and largely retitled our personal tastes.
