Townhouses At Jacaranda

It pains me to give them 1 star. I lived there from 2013 to 2017 and loved it, and left only because I moved to California for work. Back in 2017, they were still fighting over the roofs/balconies not being fixed. When I sold the place, the investors who bought it took on the special assessment. I came back to visit friends in FLL yesterday and drove by. The place is a dystopian nightmare. This was SEVEN YEARS AGO that they were supposedly going to be fixing things and it looks worse now than it did then. Add to that the $1800 ish dollars I had to pay when I moved in that was in the contract to be returned to me when I moved out and sold it. Never saw a cent of that money. The HOA is unorganized at best, corrupt at worst. Get your act together. It looks like hell over there and people are paying way too much money to live in those ruins.

Imagine paying 700 bucks a month for special assessment and 700 bucks for maintenance and the only thing I see if trash being taken out Tuesdays and Friday while no one is working. These crooks are just stealing your money. Sad

Imagine paying $700/month in HOA fees which supposedly cover roof and exterior repairs. When it's actually time to do those repairs then you get slapped with a whooping $800/month special assessment for a total expectation of paying $1500 a month in FEES alone. Renting here is fine but if you're thinking about purchasing..... RUN AWAY!

STAY AWAY! These people are crooks! They charged money on “assessments” for repairs that were never done! I am soo disgusted and angry. And I have emailed and called the HOA office without any answer or explanation. Criminals. I hope you get what you deserve.
